Teksomak proudly started its cooperation with the Municipality of Kriva Palanka on 11.04.2025.

Under the motto “Your old clothes – a new chance for nature”, together with the Municipality of Kriva Palanka we established a system for selection and recycling of textiles that aims not only to reduce the amount of waste, but also to encourage social responsibility and humanity.

🎯 As part of this cooperation, we implemented several significant activities:
✅ We placed special containers for textile waste at different locations throughout the city. For starters, these containers are mobile and will change location every week – in order to be more accessible to as many citizens as possible.
✅ We organized educational workshops in the schools “Gjorche Petrov” Secondary School, “Ilinden” Primary School, “Joakim Krchoski” Primary School and the “Detelinka” Kindergarten, where we talked with the youngest about the importance of preserving the environment and the value of textile reuse.
✅ We conducted an action to collect old clothes, where the textiles that can still be worn will be donated to people in need, while the damaged ones will go through the recycling process – contributing to the development of a circular economy.
✅ We organized a working meeting with textile companies from Kriva Palanka, with whom we exchanged ideas and agreed on ways for better logistics and processing of textile waste.

💚 For us at Teksomak, this initiative represents another important step towards a sustainable future. We believe that only through cooperation between institutions, businesses and citizens can we make real change.
