Teksomak in cooperation with Selektiraj Otpas expanded the existing cooperation with the Municipality of Valandovo for the collection of household waste, by introducing the selection of textile waste.

Each type of waste is selected in a separate color of bag, and the purple bags, the protective color of Teksomak, are intended for textile waste. A large part of the citizens of Valandovo are already well-known about the waste selection process and the use of the Selektiraj Otpad application.

The application allows each household to motivate itself for the correct selection of waste: separate collection of plastic, paper, cans, and now the latest – textile waste. For each correctly selected waste, there is a benefit and other prizes that will encourage citizens to continue with good habits.

We have been learning for a long time that it is important to select waste. However, not all selected waste can be recycled. Through the Selektiraj Otpad application, users will improve their knowledge of proper selection and understand their own role in this important process.
